The Strange Man

(Reilly was walking near the gleaming silver tower in the heart of Cardiff when he spotted a strange man running into a small alley. Reilly thought something was very strange about him and the fact that he was running from something. He began to follow the man into the dimly lit alley. As he walked he heard growling noises coming from the end of the alley. Suddenly the man jumped out at him. But it was no man, it was some kind of creature. It was bald and had large fangs, it was unlike anything Reilly had previously seen. It began to attack Reilly.)

Jack was out looking for the Weevil and his tracker said it was down the alley behind him so he turned around and ran down seeing a man getting attacked "Oh Janet!!" He ran behind the weevil and grabbed both its arms putting them in hand clamps, he then check the man over "Are you alright?"

(Reilly got up after being knocked over by the creature. His eyes glowing red for a fleeting moment and then going back to black.) I'm ok, thanks. (He got up and dusted off the arm of his trench coat.) So, what exactly is that thing?

"It's a Weevil, an alie..I shouldn't be telling you this..just forget about this ok?" He pushed the weevil down the alley and into the back of the SUV.

(He walked behind them up to the SUV.) Is this the creature that has killed many people in this area recently?

Gwen walked out from the SUV. "Janet!" She looked at Jack then the other guy..

(Reilly noticed the woman that came out of the SUV.) I see... So, is this like some sort of creature capturing club?

"Yes it is but be assured we're doing our best to keep them under control.." He lauged "and no it's not we're Torchwood..this is our job..."

"Yes, but dont go blabbing, Jack? Should we really be telling him? Who are you? What are you doing out in a dark alley around 3 AM? Not something people do now-a-days is it? I must be missing something.."

(Reilly spoke rather sarcastically.) How rude of me, my name is Reilly Ness. I was investigating the murders of the people in this town, most of them happening in this general area. I was walking around when I noticed the 'Weevil' go into the alley, I thought it was rather strange.

"Ok, ok..no need to get sarcastic with me..just asking.."

"Well you don't need to anymore, this creatures are dangerous but only when they come up to the surface, if you see one again stay well clear ok?"

Sorry, but I am beginning to wonder what exactly happens in this town. (He began to look around and then his gaze returned to the two people.) Anyway, I probably could have taken that 'weevil' down by myself.

She let out a slight giggle "Urmm doubt it.."

He laughed "Yeah thats why you were on the floor getting mauled, eh?"

I am more capable then you are aware. (He looked into the womans eyes and his flashed red.)

"Go on Reilly go home and get some rest, those cuts are going to hurt soon.." He smiled.

She raised a eyebrow at him firmly holding her stun gun in her hand.

(Reilly looked back at the man and smiled. His wounds beginning to heal.) I am no mere mortal, these scrapes are barely an annoyance.

"Right your coming with us then!" He shoved Reilly into te back of the Suv

She locked the SUV's boot and walked round to the passengers seat "His eyes..the glowed red.."

"Well he's not human we'll run some test on him..." He looked back and started it up driving back to the hub

(He sat in the van and laughed maniacally.) You could just ask me you know.

"Ok then, what are you and how can you heal yourself?"

I was given these powers to redeem myself, and I can do more then just heal myself. (He laughed again.)
